Suggested music for 101 Productions' Opening Sequence

This is a collection of the possible instrumental music that we might use, each individual sound connotes a certain aspect of the three different scenes we show in our opening sequence production (the 'dark room' scenes, the 'happy' scenes and the 'violent' scenes). Through these choices in music I plan to provoke certain emotions within our audience. The aim of the instrumental music is to represent the actions within our opening sequence through its sounds, therefore being parallel and synchronous to the actions within the scenes and resulting in an overall effective and emotional production.

DARK SCENE MUSIC:

This piece of music evokes feelings of melancholy and remembrance of the past and makes the listener want to go back to what it used to be like in the past, simpler than the far more complicated present. it reminds me of those who have come and gone and evokes sadness especially when the violin joins in for the harmony, it paints a vivid picture of a gloomy settings that connote sadness.

VIOLENT SCENE MUSIC:

The music is very ominous and it reminds the listener of the scenes in a horror movie when the a particular character is in danger, the music helps create the tension in the screen far better by heightening the feeling of suspense as it makes the listener feels as though they are in the situation where they are being followed and something is going to happen and that helps create the mood and help the atmosphere lure the listener in.

HAPPY SCENE MUSIC:

This instrumental connotes feelings of love and it paints a picture of a romantic scene where the characters have professed their love for each other and it has reached the pinnacle of the movie and it is where everything that they have been working for has come to fruition and the climax of the songs paints a picture of happy endings and eternal love.
